About Us

The York Entrepreneurs Society is a student run society at The University of York. We are based in the Vanbrugh Enterprise Zone and work in conjunction with The University’s Enterprise and Innovation Office and The White Rose Centre for Excellence in the Teaching and Learning of Enterprise (WRCETLE).

Mission

The Society's mission is to encourage and support student entrepreneurship by providing inspiration, education and the chance to learn by doing at The University of York and beyond.

Aims
  • To inspire entrepreneurial interest and further enterprising activity amongst students at The University of York.
  • To educate students in the theory and skills conducive to entrepreneurial action and thus develop a practical enterprise curriculum at The University of York.
  • To engage students at The University of York by providing the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in business enterprise and thus learn by doing.
Membership

Membership of the York Entrepreneurs Society is on an informal basis and is COMPLETELY FREE. Our competitions and events are also free to take part in, to join the society click here.
