York Entrepreneurs named most powerful society at The University of York
The York Entrepreneurs Society has been named as one of the most powerful organisations at The University of York coming 35th out of 50 on the '2010 Powerlist' list compiled by the student newspaper York Vision. Only one other society made the list, YUsnow which came 43rd on the list.
York Vision detailed how 'these campus del boys are easily one of the richest societies' and 'their launch parties feature some of the most expensive speakers'.
This is the first time the society itself has gained a place in the York Vision powerlist, in previous years committee members have made it onto both the York Vision Powerlist and Nouse's rival Top 50. These have included a former Society President Suraj Gangani and former Society Website Director Tim Ngwena who is currently Student Union President at The University of York.
